@kevosinn haha yes this is the "that is sooooo 2008-2009" build. Here are some more pics of the Flat Lander in different angles. You gotta love the Boron carbon wheels:) I know you use this stuff in your frames. Can't wait to check them out in person.

@godzuki26: a bit off topic, but do you always ride with your hoods pointing down like this? Seems uncomfortable to me, as in not having a hood to lean into. Not criticising, just surprised, don't see this type of angle often.

I have readed the whole thread, trying to find some ways to save weight, and found only those:
-riding without bartape
-remove carbon shields from levers
-use Lightweight rear derailleur
-Ceradure,or Carbon cassette
-YBN Ti chain

@jever98 - come to think of it my hoods are a little lower than normal. I am not sure why I use this setup. I try to make the very top corner of the hood even with the top of the handlebar. It is comfortable on my wrists but that is probably the only reason I can think of right now.
@bikemaniack - when I am finished I will list all parts and weights and note each component as Tuned or Stock. And after I get a chance to ride the bike I will give a ride report and replace parts with more robust parts if I feel the ride/handling is compromised. People in years past have said the Ghisallo is a flexy noodle frame so maybe the frame might be replaced too. I wont know until I take a maiden voyage. I am also leery about this fork.

You could just rotate the bars up a bit, making the top of the bars transition into the drops parallel to the ground. I've often felt that the "rule" of having the lower ends of the drops in parallel with the ground is an outdated concept, especially if the bars have been tuned or do not have a classic bend to them.

Yes I will try rotating the bars up. I don't know what position will work best until I ride the bike first. I need to be 100% sure about the bar position before I get the stem and handlebar Cryptic treated. The end of the handlebars are also splintered and need to be touched up. I may just glue carbon caps at the bar ends. I will ask Kevosinn about doing that.

I'm rather curious to see what frame you'll come up with next.

Lightweight rear mech is not as light as a tuned red rear mech . Both my red mechs are lighter 89grms and 90grms .
This is the lightest lightweight I have seen and it has been tuned still not as light as my red mechs but looks really awesome
