Yes here is a Sneak peak of some new tech that will be going into all cryptic frames and this will be the first one to get it. This is a molded 1.75" down tube. I've developed a unique way to make the tubes that leaves a perfect finish inside and out and leaves a perfect resin to fiber ratio. It also still allows me to alter the layup schedule.

Can you do shaped tubes with that, like Kamm tails?

Yes this allows shapes but it would require a different mold.

Slowly it's coming together haha. I have a deadline to meet now so I have to get it done. I'll be taking this to the hand made bike show in March.

I've been making so progress on this but have been too busy to post. I've been doing a lot of testing with layups on the tubes to make sure this frame is light as well as still being very safe and able to more than pass all safety standards. I'll be assembling the frame next week.

Here are some of the components starting to come together.

Have you sanded the levers?
I'm plucking up courage to do the same on my Dura Ace Di2. As any carpenter will tell you "you can take it off easy but you can't ever put it back on"

Amazing, both weight and looks. Curious about what kind of paint and color (if any) you'll go with! Personally I love the looks of the different fibers and I'm hoping at least some of it will still be visible!

Any progress on the handlebar combo btw?
