I would use the Omnium cranks and get the Factory 5 Lattice chainring in either black or silver. It is a 144BCD chainring and it is light. It was the same weight as my Fibrelyte 49 tooth chainring I had made for a 1 1/8 chain. Both rings were around 90 grams. You seem like a velodrome type of guy having a frame custom made with 120mm rear dropouts. Stick to the theme and go with 144BCD rings.

Yep you made my mind up on that, I will go omniums in 165. Not sure I am too keen on the chainring suggested though.

First ever extralight parts ordered today (expander and top cap), may well order a stem from them in the future when I am 100% on fit.

Still undecided on 38mm, 50mm or 60mm for the wheels. I am tempted to go 60mm and then I can use them for rough TT's on my other bike !

Cheers
