This is my 2016 52cm Cannondale Evo Black Inc w/ upgrades. Lots of Enve on this bike!!

I’ve been riding it for ~2 months and absolutely love it- mind blown. Having owned the previous 2 versions of it I definitely do notice a difference in the ride quality - smoother and feels more ‘planted’ when descending and cornering.

I switched the stock wheels for the new Enve SES 2.2 w/ Enve carbon hubs. They’re really comfortable and awesome for accelerating and climbing.

The Enve Aero bars took a few rides to get used to- but now I find them very comfortable and they seem to afford more hand locations than traditionally shaped bars.

6463 grams / 14.25 lbs

(I have Schwalbe Pro Ones on order- these should drop it down to 6323 grams. Still waiting for them to hit US shores…)

Big shout out to Halter’s Cycles - best bike shop in NJ!

Looks great, and based on the build, it seems like it would ride very nicely!

That's a beautiful bike. Did you have any issues with routing the brake cable housing through the bars? When I tried it on my bike (same shifters and bars) I felt like it put too much of a bend in the housing and added a lot of friction to the feel of the braking. What type of housing are you running?

Nice build, looks great. Mines a '15 size 54, surprised yours is so much heavier, the DA and c/set are heavier than Red and SISL2 but mine comes in just under 6kg

I've Pro One's on mine, they feel fast, do seem to roll a little better than the clincher One's on my trainer and the latter are a step up on anything else I've tried. The Pro's weighed in just under claimed at 225g and 226g for 23's

Thanks guys! This was my dream build so I'm loving every ride on it.

@Grinley - I actually had issues with the rear brake. I've always heard the ee's were great brakes but the rear felt very mushy. I used the DA cable housing but then switched to a really cheap, flexible housing for the stretch between the rear brake and frame. I guess the stiffer housing was the culprit as this change made a big improvement in the feel.

@defride - You nailed it- I think the Quarq adds a good amount of weight and the DA is heavier than Red. Looking forward to the Pro's..

Genuinely surprised how heavy it is (and not sure about the silver highlights in the frame and fork) but a stellar build, close to perfection!
