well audax and gravel turned into road races around Sydney somehow. it goes pretty good in those too however these are short relatively fast races and so i thought i might get something a bit aero for them. with a custom steel travel (S and S coupler) travel bike coming by end of April, this is off to the for sale section i believe.

HIGHLIGHTS
Comfort. Great fit for those who don't want too much drop. Handling. Great handling and Falz fork does seem like it is all that. Paint. Luminous pearl to it. Very nice. Fast and good for lots of km's was my overall experience. Certainly convinced me about the benefits of steel and all prior bikes had been Colnago's (C40, CLX, C59, C60 and EPS).

It did seem to be one or two cm large for you, but you made it work nicely.
Post up the measurements on that frameset when you have a chance.

55cm top tube, 58cm seat tube, 76mm BB drop, 74.5º SA (designed for a layback post with saddle nose 70mm behind the BB), 72.5º HA and 17.5cm head tube.

Tempted to buy it back, but I just can't justify it right now...

Rats! Too small for me.
This frameset looks great though. Someone will be smiling if you decide to sell.

Back on this bike today for the commute. Have been on my EPS lately. It really is a great bike. On 25 mm Arenbergs it felt like I had everything. Great handling, speed but also control and comfort. Despite perhaps looking a bit off with my lower seat position, the shorter reach is a great position for me.

I was deeply impressed and may hang onto it until i am sure that the new steel bike is in the same ball park. photo of it in today's fit out.
