Looking forward to this project. The blue stem and post doesn't really go on this frame but are certainly beautiful in their own right!

I've heard of Neil Pryde bikes, but to be honest, never really paid much attention. This frame has my attention. Very good looking bike.... almost cross between a BMC SLR01 and a Cervelo R5, both of which, I think ,look very attractive.

These anodized blue components do not match the frame at all IMHO.

Too rich for my blood anyways. I'm considering SR11 cranks with Parlee adapter. Or lighter weight FSA/Rotor.

No worries on the blue Tune stuff, they're temporary. Would be nice to have those blue cranks though.

Rotor will be not lighter than CampaSR. Campy cups fit perfectly to NP frame ( NP are made with VERY high accuracy ) , never had creaking in Nazare ( not with Praxis, not with Campagnolo cups ).

Calculate crank+cups/+bottom bracket bearings - then you will get real numbers.

From many Bura images I saw IMO best fit is dark & visually light crank+rings ( Like Campagnolo, Cannondale ... ). DA is visually "heavy" on that frame, same anything with silver rings.

I can be wrong, and have plenty of examples for that ;)

Thanks for that, I never knew about the Praxis bottom bracket. I will have to reconsider the SR11 crankset. Chain ring options are a concern, but likely insignificant.

I just built up a NOS Bura as well. It's a blast to ride!

Very nice frame and buildlist!

I'm curious about that rubber worm at the bottombracket. Did you buy it or did it come with the frame. I need a couple of those! :D

It came with the frame. It look like it's apart of the bottom bracket cable guide. The eBay seller said the head tube guide for the rear brake was missing, but it wasn't. NeilPryde will sell you one for $15 though.

Some boring scale shots. SR11 derailleurs, Tune Gum Gum (thanks Fairwheel), and Chorus 12-25 cassette.
