I'm a bit under the weather right now so I didn't really put it through its paces on the first ride but I was surprised by how little harshness I felt after having others say the opposite. That said, I have CLX64's with 26mm tires (that measure out to 28mm on these wheels) at 90psi, so that likely has something to do with it.

Anyway, initial impressions were good, just need to make minor fit adjustments, and then race it this weekend if the weather holds out.

Nice to hear.. people say the standard DSW Allez and Venge ride harsh too, but I'm riding similar set up with 26's and can't complain.

I'm about to try and stuff some Vittoria Pave 27's on the Allez.. hopefully they fit. I have a feeling they're going to measure over 29.

The Power saddle is a mock up at this point. Going to try it again on this bike since what I intend to do with this bike (crit racing) is also what the saddle was similarly designed for. If I like it, I well replace this with the SW version and if not, I'll get another Tune Kom Vorr.

I also need to toss a cage on but left the one I will be using at home.

I'll post a first ride report here in a bit....

Sweet build, it certainly pays to be in the industry 8)

Which version of the omega brake is that? I'm thinking of getting the omega X for my venge, tt reviews say great stopping power wondering if that translates to the road world as well.

Man, it's honestly the best brake I've ever used and I've had most modern versions of SR11 and DA at one point or another, on top of current gen EE's.

It's the Omega X. I bought it for my Shiv TT but got antsy and tossed it on this (got my TT replacement in the mail today).

The setup is mega easy and the feel is awesome. Can't say enough about them.

(The industry is good to me, no doubt, but my wife and I have a business we've done well with that pays most of the bills and allows a stupid amount of bikes and equipment.....)
