Ride report: So far, so good... 1x takes a little getting used to. Frame itself is awesome though. Now, I need a nice set of wheels.

What gearing are you running? Any problems with 1x in N. Georgia and the terrain?

Currently running the stock gearing, 50t with 11-32t cassette. If I were to do any real climbing I would likely change out the chainring to a 46t. the 50x32 is equivalent to a 39x25 which I used to ride 10-15 years ago.

Just introducing myself,

Built my DSW SL last winter with mostly Rival 1 with a Force 1 crankset. Finished it with Bonty Race wheels together with bits found in garage.

My Allez, now sold. Best bike I've had, didn't plan to sell it but I had to get some money to buy a Colnago C40

First bike I've seen in my life that immediately made me think of cotton candy.... That's sweet.... Pun intended...

Looks good! I would de-sticker the wheels. Takes away from the frame!

Was thinking of changing the wheels. Have not decided yet. Still trying to tune the bike first. The bike is stiff. Very stiff.

Have you ridden the previous allez? Any thoughts against that?
