Hi All,

Been a Colnago fan since I can remember. In 1993 I remember going to my local bike shop and seeing an old guy loading a brand new Colnago Master X-Light into his car with a vibrant art décor colour scheme, loved it. Then again a few years later seeing a guy riding a brand new Colnago C40 Mapei in our local bunch ride with Campagnolo Record 10 speed on it. I had just started high school and there was no way I could afford one.

Fast forward to 2009, I just got married and 6 months later my wife got me a brand new Sarroni colour Colnago Master X-Light frame (which i still have).

In 2011 I got my first carbon road bike, a second hand Colnago EPS in AMIT, 52s.

2014 got a Colnago C59 in art décor blue (AD10).

Feb 2016, I just got a 2015 Colnago C60 in OFCG that i will be building up over the next month or two. Can't wait!

This is going to be good... The tanwalls match very nicely to the frame color.

Looking fantastic, it was my favourite colour choice until Colnago "dropped" it when I placed my order last November, but I'm still super happy with mine now :D

Still, it's going to be goooooooooood .............. looking forward to it build up!

Cheers

I am not a great fan of sloping Colnagos, but it looks promising.

Is it because they no longer do this paint scheme that you titled your thread the way you did? Couldn't figure that out till @Look565w mentioned it in his post above. Anyway, this is a beautiful frame set. Agree with @Eurperg that the tan sidewalls are a perfect complement to this frame. The whole thing has kind of a gold cast to it. Had one in my hands yesterday in the same paint, a 54s. I felt a bit "dirty", like I was cheating a bit. :)

Colnago, Campagnolo, Deda, Veloflex... so far, so good.
I would prefer a non sloping frame though...

As mentioned, the tan sidewalls are looking like the right choice!

Very nice........... I'm a Pina [x3] lad and my son is a Colnago lad [C59]. But one day I must build one for myself.......... need to find a old stock C59 in the correct size.

And
PS. now please don't flame me but I actually prefer the sloping frames in the Colnagos, it is aesthetically pleasing in my eyes

The reason for the title is because this colour/frame was first released at the 2014 Giro d'Italia, it came out in Australia late 2014, early 2015. They no longer make this colour and for 2016 there are a new colours, it's a new C60 but old colour from 2015.

YAY!!, seat and bars arrived. Should I make the bars parallel to the ground or the top tube?

Selle Italia SLR Kit Carbonio in black (no yellow seat or bar tape for me : )!!) and Deda Newton shallow's.

My frame came with these stainless steel bottle cage bolts, 12grams.

Went to my local Colnago dealer and got some black Colnago alloy lightweight cage bolts, 5 grams
