I picked up a Cervelo R5 at the end of the year off Ebay. I made a few changes to make the fit just right for this 50m year old. So Far I have about 400 miles on it and it sure has been fun in the hills. The smallest size they make 48cm.

I visited a couple of Cervelo dealers and found that I could use a size 51 and a 48. I have a few other bikes and really prefer a 52cm top tube which the 48 (51.9) is closer to my other bikes. I have had a fit recently and that also helped me to determine which size i was looking for.

I am 5'5", I really like the smaller frame for what I was looking for.

I hope that helps

Scott

How do you like this R5 compared to the Evo in your sig?

They are set up pretty darn close, however the Evo seems smoother on the fast rough road descends. The R5 is the closest to the Evo on the rough stuff but not better. The Cervelo seems stiffer and quicker steering. I prefer the Evo on anything above 45mph just for the fact that I enjoy it more.

I use the Cervelo for the 25-50 fast club rides and the Evo on the +50 rides. The Evo has been my go to bike for the 100 and 200 miles rides, this Evo is my second one.

I hope that helps

Swapped my FS 38x25 carbon clinchers. Really like this setup better than the DA c35's.
