Is there any chance you could post the pictures (doesnt matter if updated or not) without the watermarks? Id love to post them onto my fb page "Road Bike Porn".

If you're going to use my photos for your FB page, then I'd like the credit... so no, I won't remove the watermarks, sorry. The reason the watermarks are there is for exactly the reason you want me to remove, to prevent people from using them and representing them as their own work. Hope you can understand.
Ill post them anyways with your watermarks !

Nice... 2013 S-Works. I almost got one of those believe it or not. Just before I got the 2015 Pro, there was a shop local to me that had a few 2013 S-Works frames that they were selling at a steal... Unfortunately, I missed the last one by a day or two. Ended up getting a great deal on this 2015 though and love the color and I actually think I see less of these pro models out on the road than the S-Works bikes... I have some friends with S-Works Venges and the ride quality/weight is very similar between the 10R and 11R frames.

I haven't ridden a pro but I'm coming from a fake venge which was tremendous difference in quality and everything else. Now I'm waiting for Canyon to me my aeroad but not until May.

Yes, its my understanding that the 11R S-Works Venge frame uses a slightly higher grade carbon allowing them to use less and still achieve the same stiffness, which means that the S-Works is slightly lighter. It can't be that much lighter though because my bike weighs the same as my friends S-Works Venge.. we are both DA mechanical, but I have a slightly lighter saddle, stem, wheels and skewers... which don't really make up that much difference in weight.
Where are you that you're expecting a Canyon? not the US.

absolutely love them..
Previously, I had been using Continental GP4000S and S II's and while they were good, I had terrible trouble getting them to last. Treadle seemed to be ok, but I had 3 tires go bad in the sidewalls well before the tread was worn. These S-Works are faster, lighter and less expensive... I thought there had to be a downside and figured it would be longevity, but these S-Works have lastest far longer than I managed to get any of the Conti's to last.
I use the S-Works Turbo Cottons for races and those things are crazy fast.

aqualelaki wrote:Nice looking bike. Do you actually feel the flex in your Allez's bottom bracket compare to Venge ?
I know there are some people that say the Allez is super flexy, but I'm not one of them... The Allez is as stiff as I want it to be.. Occasionally, in all out efforts, in the 52-11 gear combination I get some chain rub and I think its from flex, but I'm talking about 1100+ watt efforts. The Venge definitely puts power down a little better though. All things considered, the Venge is the better bike, obviously, but I'm constantly impressed with the bang for the buck that the Allez offers. I truly enjoy riding both bikes and it is usually a difficult decision.
