Hi, thought I would share my new toy. First step into a decent road bike after many mtb's.
Image
The frame was a bespoke build and i purchased it secondhand, just hope after a bike fit it will be okay for me, I have used it on the rollers and nothing is too far out regarding comfort.

Miche Supertype brakes
Miche Supertype RS 53/39 crank set [need to swap to a compact setup]
Deda Zero100 bar and stem
Legend seat post and bottle cages

Reynolds Attack carbon wheels

Weight is approx 7.6kg [on the bathroom scales]

If you have to use that much spacers under the stem , the ones who dit your fit study sucks ... It looks like you adapt a production frame to fit your body . A potential for flex and pivot failure with what's look like a little more than 3 cm of spacers no ?
You should have taken a ''gran fondo'' geometry frame or one with a taller head tube

except that nice color and I've always read great reviews about the ride quality of these frame

Hi,

The second sentence of the original post, right below the picture, says:

"The frame was a bespoke build and i purchased it secondhand".

That means he wasn't specifically "fitted" for this bike, as it was built for someone else.

That said, I think the bike looks great, and the spacers don't look too bad. It would be better of course if you could remove some of them, but whatever works for a comfortable fit.

Yes I do hope I can remove a couple of the spacers purely for aesthetics but comfort is more important......

That's a good looking bike. I like the matte, sparkly blue.

Nice color of your frame. A bit heavy for the parts used but who cares If it rides well... Spacers are not that bad as well
Have a nice ride

Hi, thanks for the nice comments on the colour but i think the flash makes it brighter than it really is.

With regards to weight, yes i would of hoped for it to be lighter. I will have to go through the parts to see what might be adding the bulk.

Nice, like the colour too! My Viner Mitus made by the same guy was a favourite of mine. What size is it (seat tube and top tube horizontal?)

I can say I love the bike after riding over the summer months. The fit is spot on after a few changes , just stem and bars. Have to say Campag with that mechanical feel is A revelation after years of riding Shimano.
