I'm going to try and hold my judgement until I see one in the flesh cause I'm hoping it just doesn't photograph well lol

I have mine to as low as 15.5 lbs with Mavic CCU's/Red22/Tune Kom Vorr saddle. 16 and change with 4.5 clinchers and a bit more with the 6.7's.

So the difference between this and the S-Works is just in components? Looks like they share the same frame and fork looking at the spec list.

Did get a chuckle at seeing nylon pedals listed on a $19000NZD bike.

Hi,
sorry for the late answer!
First, it's a stock bike, list of the few changes:
Roval ClX 2016 40mm vs Roval CL 64mm -200g
S-Works power saddle vs Pro power -50g
Control Tech Race Light RR skewers (26g) vs Specialized -75g?
Speedplay zero ti pedals
i could get a ligther saddle, but the power is perfect and looks great with the bike
Second i did not try it yet, my only excuse, i'm sick for the moment, but hoping to ride it for the first time saturday
will tell you more about it as soon as possible

You got a bike for every situation. Cool  But don't understand you swapped the wheels. 60mm looks better on it. :P

Hi,
to Swannie :why not a Tarmac? because i already own a Allez S-Works wich rides the same way and is lighter than the tarmac!
to Nejmann : i prefer riding on 40mm for many reasons: wind(too much wind in Belgium), weight(-170g), look(64mm look better on a bigger bike), hills (much killing hills in Belgium
to Alpine : on the "normal" Venge i ride the Aerofly wich i like much, if i had too much money to spend i would use it aswell on my Allez's
On the Venge Vias it is the vias aerofly, which is slightly different (cables pass completely inside the bars) and can be or flat or with rise (see photo)

Looks most excellent in stealth rode - guy in our group has one with white decals and this looks much better. That said, his is on the 64's which do suit the frame (and the ethos) better. Get your comments about cross winds but at least run a 60 on the back with the 40 on the front? I know they're fast though and he puts out like no watts at all in a group bunch!
