There is some serious attention to detail in this build! I bet it rides like a dream.

beautiful bike but any special reasoning for the flat bars ? commuter (an expensive one )? or to be able to use the XTR stuff (brakes and shifters) ?

I am not judging, it is not my bike, so nothing to say, just curious.

The tru axle is really slick.

I was wondering about the flat bar too. I commute every day and still prefer my road bar.

Why not tubeless?

Beautiful , but also I don't understand the flat bar on road frame .Maybe I'm too old!

One question, this combination XTR DI2 Controller Switches works 100% with Di2 road dearailers, especially front 2 x 11?
I was looking around for this Di2 mashup and didn't get the answer for exactly this setup.

I think the only difference is you don't get syncro shift.

Very nicely done but I just don't get the point of what it'd be used for. Too nice for commuting, not really an off-road machine nor a dropped bar race bike.

Agree with Lone Wheeler; it's a bit of a head scratcher.
