My previous English build is still going strong but being quite a big frame and with an integrated post, it's a pain to travel with...

So Rob is building me something new.

His folding road concept frame plus...
Enve Gravel fork
eTap
Mechanical discs (with routing clearance to replace with eTap hydraulic at a later stage)
Enve M50 / Chris King
various other nice things, and a fancy paint job from Color Works

Something for the road less travelled...

if I may suggest two things ! :)

1) go with center lock hubs , chris king will have some available soon or the white industries CLD are available
2) I wouldn't go for mtb M50 rims , but for 35 mm high something more roadish cyclocross and maybe from another brand... they are good options unless you only want enve rims

i agree with centerlock hubs.

I was a non believer until I used a centerlock disc. it works so much better.

will be a nice build.

get the frame built with hydro guides for rear brake line (unless its full housing internal routing). it will be nice for when etap comes in hydro and you upgrade to not have to redo the frame if you have normal cable stops.

going through that now with my custom tandem that I was going to retrofit di2 hydro to. (im building a new frame now for that)

Sorry guys - I had almost forgot about this thread!

The frame is all set up for internal brake routing, and the plan was always to allow space for hydraulics once SRAM release the eTap Hydro.

Centrelock hubs never occurred to me actually. Perhaps I'll have to try some out at a later date.

Rob's going to be taking it to NAHBS in all its technicolour glory, although possibly not in its final guise as the eTap hasn't arrived yet...

No - G-One 35mm tubeless actually. I've not ridden them yet - they're in Oregon and I'm in the UK!
