My Scott Foil DI2 project (final build on page 2)
Moderators: MrCurrieinahurry, maxim809, Moderator Team
My original intention was to present it when I have the final build, but being a longer project I will present it along the way...
So I started with a Scott Foil Team Issue DI2 only frameset size 56cm, then got some nice Bontrager Aeolus D3 3 wheels.
I plan to change the tubulars with a black only version as I don't quite like the look of the "classical" stripes.
Next are the Ultegra DI2 6870 front and rear derailleurs:
This month I plan to complete the electronic shifting part (shifters, battery, junction boxes, wires...) and get the handlebar.
So that's all for the moment, I'll keep you updated when I have some news

Next is the Zipp SL-70 handlebar, I love the shape and look of it :
Much prefer this Foil model to the new version.

Love the bike and those Zipp bars! How far up are you going to tape them?
Thanks, hope to end up with a nice and fast bike
Just the minimal tapping, something like is in this article: http://www.bikerumor.com/2015/08/04/lon ... -seatpost/

I have a specialized aerobar and also wanted minimal bartape, so I started the normal way from bottom and finished in the side under the brakehood and then with rest I started on top of the bar, 1 inch from the brakehood and finished in the other side under the brakehood to give it a clean look. I put a piece of electrical tape on the end of each bar tape end under the brakehood to keep it in place.

Can't wait to see this done, looks mean.
Nice bike - like to see the complete build, but sorry ..... don't like the handlebar

The handlebar is beautiful in my opinion , I like the craftsmanship and execution. Steam is not final, I will change it after a proper bike fitting.
Just finished wiring the DI2 setup, very easy passing the wires though the handlebar BTW
Also moved my Romin saddle from the current bike, bike starts to take shape
Pics to follow..
