Hi,

Here's a little project I'm working on:

2013/14 Rocky Mountain Vertex, Medium. Current specs:
Fork: Fox Float 32 Evolution CTD
Crankset: XTR 980 w/ 34t single ring from Homebrew (anyone remember that guy from MTBR?)
Cassette: XT 8000 11-40t
Rear Derailleur: XTR 9000
Shifter: XT 8000
Chain: XT/Ultegra 11sp
Brakes: XT 8000

Crap wheelset that probably weighs 2000g
Deda seatpost I stole from my SSCX bike
Cheap RavX fake stainless bottle cages
Raceface stem and Next carbon handlebar

When I bought the bike, it had a mix of horrible low-end SRAM and a terrible fork on it and weighed 11,198g (24.68lbs). With the drivetrain and fork swap, it now weight a hefty 10,523g (23.2lbs). So, I've gained a much better drivetrain and suspension and shed 1.48lbs.

I need to sort out a wheelset. I've historically gone with Industry Nine; but I'm going to do something different this time. XTR 9010 hubs laced to Nextie 30mm carbon rims for a 1,465g wheelset.

After that, it's cockpit. I need a very minimal setback post, 10-15mm would be perfect. I'm thinking of using the Fizik Cyrano carbon post and a matching stem. It's not the lightest stuff; but, I've had good luck with the Cyrano on my Element.
