as always got derailed from the original plan. wanted to respray the r5 for a new look.
found this frame in classifieds almost new at a cant-miss price so ended up with another build.
tried to keep the build as german-ic as possible except for the usual suspects like the crankarms, calipers, cables, pedals.
most stuff came from my previous builds, only the wheels, rings, post and stem are newly acquired.

hope you like it.

Wow, great build.
This is the first time honestly where I saw a mounted FSA crank and thought, 'that looks proper'.
Enjoy that ride. Well done.

I really like it, the chainrings go well with the cranks and always like the weave in Corima's...

Looks really good!

Any feedback from that recon Cassette? Had one and after 1000 miles several parts broke..

That's a nice weight even with di2, hope you get much life out of the recon cassette! I really like the short head tube, not many bikes has that nowadays.

thanks for the kind words!

@thebuny, kayrehn
the first iterations yes didnt shift well and were soft. these newgen coated ones, ive gotten decent miles and have been using them for most of my builds. i also have a spare wheelset so they work for me.

For such a neat and tidy build that tape end to the bar tape is shocking!

Beautiful build, love the black and white with the pops of red. Also, excellent job on the photography, wish all posts had the same image quality

haha, trust me its not 'crumpled' endtape. the bartape surface is textured so it showed thru the thin endtape. just like zipp dimples showing thru the decals, for lack of a better example. :wink:
