Hi, I can't believe it took this long to find this site. I've been looking at component weights for ages and suddenly I find everything here, great!

I currently have two bikes, an old black Pace RC200 with RC35's and old XT to match. My other is a red RC200 F8, built three years ago with:

RC36's
XT mechs
Mavic X317's on Hope XC (Ti rear)
Hope C2's (old and sh***)
Race Face Turbine crank (I think?!?!)
RC45 stem
Race Face Evolve XC riser
Thompson Elite 415mm (set back) post
Flight SLR
cheap pedals as I break them too often!
Studded snow tyres for the ride to work (in Norway!)

Recently two friends at home (Portsmouth) managed to find a couple of 1992 Klein Attitude frames on ebay , I used to have one but it was stolen. I'm still gutted! Anyway, they decided to build the lightest bike they could and as I like to have the best I decided to try and beat them with my F8. I want to keep it rideable (at least 9 gears, not single speed like them) and after so many years with discs I am reluctant t go back to V-brakes. I hate to start at a new forum with questions but I promise to help out as much as I can! So here goes;
