This year I've had a Specialized Allez which has been good and used a lot with a lot of colours on it. But it became a bit too much and for next year I got other plans. After been trying a S-Works Roubaix disc and a S-Works Tarmac disc I'm sold, discs are the right thing. Will try to build a clean classy build with the latest features in a lightweight way. With discs it's hard to build light but aiming for 6,5kg at a start. The bike for motivation :)

Bike looks awesome, so the tub version has external nipples, while the clincher has internal or am I just seeing things? Whats the rationale with the CX1 rear mech?

Asymptotic: That's true about the nipples. The thing with the Force 1 derailleur is that it got a clutch mechanism to keep the chain in place and manages cassettes up to 36t.

Suprisingly heavy cranks though. My Specialized cranks with 53/39 S-Works rings came in at 545gr.
