My new build for 2016..Helium SL with a mix of Campag Chorus EPS and Record for the non electric bits. I originally bought a 2015 Record group and then almost immediately found a deal on a low miles Chorus EPS V2 upgrade setup, as its an itch I've had for a while, I decided to go for it (knowing I've got the remaining Record mechanical kit as back up if it plays up!) I've already made my own tool to mount the internal battery in the seattube. basically an telescopic aerial out of a broken FM radio, some tape and a long screw with the same thread as the EPS battery mount :D

I previously had a Supersix Evo Hi Mod...great bike, super comfortable but not the sharpest handling in 50cm due to massive trail! Made me miss my previous Helium non Hi-Mod...could turn that thing on a penny round hairpins

Is that a 2015 (1518BM) frameset? If so, I'm surprised it's 785g when Ridley claim 750g for the medium frame. I'm seriously considering a Helium SL for my next build, but I am trying to get under 6kg, so the grams matter.

It is...for reference my last cannondale evo was 770gm, tbh an extra 35gms is less than taking a leak, not really worth worrying about imo

No the weight includes the rear mech hanger and steel bottle cage bolts but not the bb cable guide .

EPS V2 battery now successfully bolted into the seat-tube and a quick plug in reveals all components working well and battery still full of charge despite not being used for 4 weeks...phew! I've attached the battery shut off magnet band too just as a precaution...now to route the cables in the frame!

Well the EPS internal power unit has mounted successfully, along with the mechs and cable routing. A quick connection of the levers/interface and it all seems to work perfectly...so far!
The battery fits snugly down the seattube and has attached well via the included threaded studs, its hardly sausage up an alley room for it, but is a really solid fit after being screwed in, so happy with that. Must say, I was quite surprised how easy it was to get it all installed, no doubt eased by watching the Campag online installation vids many times prior to putting it together.

Despite the frame being drilled for the battery port in-between the D/T bottle cage bolts, I'll go through the removable cover under the BB, as it'll negate the need for an extension lead.

Nice. My frameset came to exactly 1100g in XS sizing.

Included frame/fork/seatpost collar/hanger/headset/bottlecage bolts

Wheels and electric parts all in with levers/bars wired up, need to tidy wiring up though. Thought I'd try out the new Vittoria Corsa's out, made with Graphene, they look pretty cool!
Think I reduced the size of the pics down too much!

Y I've got a super6 nano (56) but I'd still say the Ridley Excalibur I had is the best handling bike I've ever been on. Ridley geo is great, enjoy!

Interest to see what weight you get this down to. I have a practically stock 2013 model (got a thread up on the intro page) but interested to see where you're saving the most weight as I'd love to get mine under 6
Ridley Helium SL 2016 (M)- 6.08kg
Super6 Evo Hi-Mod (M) - 6.10kg
Caad 10 2013 -7.65kg (Zwift)+ Tacx Neo 21.5kg :)
