Hey!

Thought I would post a picture of some Tennessee carbon that has found its way to Sweden.

I'm relatively new to road biking and after riding a Fuji Team RC 2008 for a year or so I wanted something new and more shiny.
Didn't have an unlimited budget so I had to pick up most components over a longer time span. Some new but most used. I tried to get the most bang for the buck in terms of weight when mixing SRAM Red and Force.

Image

Frame/fork/seatpost: Litespeed C1R 2012 | 1790g (fork and seatpost uncut)
Crankset: SRAM Red 22 | 555g
Shifters: SRAM Red 22 | 280g
FD: SRAM Force 22 | 77g
RD: SRAM Force 22 | 166g
Brakes: SRAM Force 22 | 556g
Chain: Dura-Ace 9000 | 248g
Cassette: Ultegra 6800 | 226g
Wheels: Cosmic Carbone SLS | 1695g
Stem: Deda Zero 1 | 145g
Bars: 3T Aeronova Team Stealth | 220g
Saddle: Prologo Zero II PAS Nack | 165g
Cages: Elite Custom Race | 46g
Pedals: Powertap P1 (not on picture) | 437g

Weight is 7480g with everything included (housing/wires/etc)

I was originally thinking of selling the bike and placing an order on a Aeroad CF SLX 8.0 DI2 but I'll hang on to the C1R for another year. Bike isn't heavy but far from WW standard! I'm currently looking into switching parts to get closer to 7000g so any help would be welcome.

Bike is really fun and stiff to ride. I've never seen wind tunnel tests of the frame but it definitely feels fast at higher speeds. I run 25mm GP4000 S2 and it's relatively comfortable with those tyres. Handlebars are really good looking but they do flex a bit when sprinting. I had read that the Aeronovas do flex a bit but was a bit dissapointed after testing them out. I'm not a sprinter so I'm ok but I can see why the pros go for aluminium stem/handlebar combo.

I've been struggling with my saddle position for awhile now. I've tried different positions but can't really find a good position for it so I'll be doing a bike fit next week to sort that out!

Cheers :)

The C1R is one of those frames I've always wanted. That and the Cervelo S5.

I love this frameset. It looks BRUTAL ! (as a Cervelo S5, that's true...)

Enjoy the ride !
