Yeah it defenatly deserve some lighter parts but a 2 weeks vacation in Morocco for christmas is slowing down the project! In the future i want it sub6.5 including pedals and Garmin 800.

Looking forward to the finished build.
As far as i know, "Focus" dictates to use exclusively their expander with the Izalco max-fork, so i am very curious about your experiences with using the Extralite-expander instead.

Really like those frames, some guys in my group ride a Focus (but I guess a more weighty model).

Where did you source it?

I didnt buy it. I sent my Focus Izalco Pro 3.0 to waranty and after a big fight with my dealer and Focus i got this one to replace mine. They wanted to send the Cayo from 2015, really got too but not my kind of ride!

Big big fight! They wanted to give me the 2015 Cayo, wich is not bad but not the same kind of ride. So after a week or so they send me this one, with the wrong fork but ok!

I just ordered an Aeroad but I was really close to go for a Izalco Max 1.0 DA DI2 that was on sale. Don't know why but the classic look of the Izalco really gets me going for some reason.

Gz on a nice bike and looking forward to seeing the finished build :)
