Here is my new Specialized Allez Build. Currently not the lightest, but will be having fun getting it closer to 6.8kg over time.

very nice! Suggest getting black decals to swap out for the white for a complete stealth look!

V nice bike. Ultegra or 105 pedals will save you some grammes for a start...

@spincycle I thought about removing them all together, but I like how the white ones look when they are spinning, bit like the enve's on MTN quebeka team bikes.

@junchen as a uni student I have to save before I can spend, plan is to wait til spring, then start to upgrade. Pedals, seatpost and bars are first on my list.

6 Months in and after a lot of fiddling I am finally happy with my fit, finding it really comfortable completely slammed. I have also started making my first small modifications. The ride was quite chattery with the 23mm tyres and with some very good gravel tracks that I enjoy riding where I live, I have put some 28mm Clement Strada LGG tyres on the rims. First impressions are that they aren't any slower and it's like riding on clouds! Also I think the tan walls really make this bike stand out in a sea of black bikes!
