A new build topic dedicated to all you Colnago aficionados here!

I have been looking for something like this for a while, and then suddenly I found one in just my size. Like most of us I really don't need an another road bike, but this was something I just couldn't pass...
Even when I still had my C59 I still drooled over PR00 non-sloping Colnagos with traditional headsets... Especially irongatsby's EP  I'm not a fan of C50's top and down tube shape, so EP is just the perfect frame to begin with.

This is a budget build with leftover parts, planned build list:

2012 Record groupset with SR Ti Cranks
    Superzero seatpost
    Zero100 BoB stem
    Newton Shallow bars
    FSA Orbit X headset
    Saddle ?
    Whatever wheels I have, Bora35/Veloflex, Nemesis/Record/FMB...

Frame weight was 1320g with BB cups, headset cups and seatpost collar, so maybe about 1220g naked.

It's going to be interesting to see how this compares to my titanium bike ride-wise...

That'll be a really nice build Eurperg. My C59 has evolved since building it in 2011. In fact, the only thing still on it from the original build is my signature top cap. It's now got the Superzero seatpost, Deda Zero 100 Bob stem, and Deda Zero 100 Shallow bars (classic, not RHM). So, pretty much the same cockpit as you are proposing for this build. All of it fits perfectly with the frame.

Awesome. How about a Regale Suede? I suggest it because you had a white Regale on the C59. I think your frame weighs about 1175g (1320g - headset est. 80g - bb cups est. 40g - seatclamp 25g). This frame is probably much stiffer than most Ti frames.

^^ The saddle will be 2015 Regale FX in black, I just ordered one... Regale Urban FX looks great also, but I don't want to make a copy of yours ;)

Can't wait to see it done/ One of the best Colnago frames with traditional geometry and probably the best paint scheme, I hope you it won't take too long to see it finished :D

Size 59 is perfect for me with a slammed 120mm stem. I'm 184cm with 92 cm inseam and longish arms... I had a CT2 in size 59 and I liked the fit:

My C59 was 54s (equal to 58) and it was great it also, but for using classic bend bars that bring the hoods lower, the taller HT of 59 is better. And I really like riding with classic bend bars, not just for looks.

I bet your NOS would have been 3x more expensive also...
