Yeah I think it's the thompson post that's throwing things off.
I feel the stem doesn't look right either so i'll probably go to a 6degree stem and then hopefully slam the stem.
Thank you for your Input GT56!

WS about to say the same - a less aggressive stem slammed would look better.

That sounds good.
Any recommendations?
I'm tempted by the Extralite ultrastem but I haven't made my mind up yet.
I think i'll change the seatpost first. I like the look of the Passoni seatpost though can't decide on carbon or ti. Also it looks like they often use a saddle with that seatpost without a cutout, yet it has a downwards facing bolt. Presumably you can still gain access to it?

Cheers Nobuseri!
A bit of a change is coming. Earlier some of you recommended a ti seatpost so I have now returned the Thompson seatpost and gone for a Passoni Ti seatpost.
I have also taken your advice GT56 and gone for the Deda Superleggero stem.
Should dramatically change the looks, hopefully for the best as I certainly wasn't happy with its current state.
Cheers for everyone's input!
Does anyone have any ww seatpost clamp recommendations?
Oh also, I need to change the Campag Zonda qr skewers to something lighter, I have been looking at the J & L eBay skewers. Any other options worth looking into?

Can't wait to see updated pics! Gorgeous build, but that stem was killing me!
Just got one of these J&L Clamps, in Silver it matches my Ti frame and post PERFECT. Its not super light though, not sure how light you were looking to go.

Thank you arizonahalfnhalf! Loving your all out ti look... Very tempted to do that with mine now I have a ti post coming. Don't those J&L seat clamps get advertised as est. 14g?
I keep toying with having the frame sprayed up (or doing it myself)...
A couple of idea's for now
I cannot help but feel any bikes without min 38mm deep wheels just look wrong...
