There are a few online sources selling it for £9.99  Looks identical to the Planet X version, but the Aithein branding is a really nice touch.

Scrap that, Kinesis has updated their website today and added all their new stock (including the Aithein Disc). They now make the Aithein clamp in Ti! And, it's the same price.

Nice. I reckon that would look good on your black Aithein MikeyBE.

Very nice build you've got going on!!
I have just been on the Kinesis site, I'm now thinking that an Aithein disc would make a nice poor weather bike. Maybe next year

just consider that the Aithein is designed as a summer race bike and has no mudguard clearance. Having said this, I will be riding mine all winter. Functional race bike all the way.

They are stating 28mm clearance now, so 25 + guards might work.

Ah great, didn't see that. They've clearly changed the design more than I expected, probably to compete with Bowman etc.

For poor weather I'd say go with the kinesis 4S instead of the aithein disc. You may find the 4S more forgiving?

Also I imagine they would have had to have tweaked the chainstays for the disc version (chain line issues). May impact how the bike handles.

Thanks for the tip re the seat collar. I accidentally ordered the red one I have on my bike! I wanted a black one really. Can't say I'm too enamoured by the silver Kinesis clamp... Didn't they used to offer a black aithein clamp?

Have been toying with stem length and getting the fit right before I spend any more money prettying it up. Will get some up to date photos uploaded this week (after a wash).

Still waiting for my Fabric bottles. I phoned the company I pre-ordered them with and they said they should be arriving in the next week :D
