I received my Madone 9 last week via Trek's Project One. I only had enough time for two short 30-40 mile rides before heading to Richmond, VA for the weekend.
The bike is a 56 with the H1 frame.
With wheels, cages - ready to ride, I show it at 16lb 4oz. (7.37kg). The Wheels are Zipp Firestrike 404 Carbon Clinchers
with Continental Tubes and 4000s II tires. Drivetrain is Shimano Dura Ace Di2. Saddle is temporary, Fizik saddle is on its way.

In these photos I'd not yet lowered the stem.I also have a Domane 6. I say that in clarifying my thoughts on its ride.
The bike is fantastic. I'm very pleased with the way it handles - responsive, but not twitchy.
My local climbs are short and sometimes steep. It handles them very well.
The bars are comfortable to hold on the tops. I rarely use that area, except on a long climb.
Computer mounts and other accessory mounts are INCLUDED with the bike - as they should be.

Damn, looks nice! Did you buy just the frame set or the complete bike (minus the wheels)?

how many spacers will you take out? must be a great few, otherwise a h2 would have been a better option...

Very nice!

Please post some fresh pictures of it once you've got it all dialled in.

I think your front brake needs some fine tuning. I think you'll find the left hand caliper 'arm' hits the bottom edge of the vector wing if you apply the brake and turn the bars to the left. Now that I've built a few of these, I can definitely say that reading the manual, taking your time and getting the brakes setup spot on and perfectly symmetrical in their action makes for the best performance (they are great IMO, like the Speed Concept brakes on EPO).

It could be that the wedge/chock was clamped onto the brake cable to quite straight, meaning that the inner cable is under torsion one way or the other, pulling it slightly off centre.

picked this up last week from the dealer. It took nearly 2 months from order to delivery - will build it up over the winter.
