Hi everyone!
---------------------------------
*UPDATE* Jan 23 2016
So I updated my stem and cages. Went from 100mm to 110mm and eliminated 10mm spacer. Also swapped Elite bottle cages for Arundel Mandible matte carbon cages. Bike is handling really great now, tracks confidently in and out of corners and steering is more stable. Cage swap was purely for esthetics although I'm sure I shaved about 30-50 grams over the Elite cages. I prefer the more subtle look of the Mandible cages. First image is the updated version, second is the original. Still considering new cranks and brakes....
---------------------------------
First timer introducing my ride to the group. Despite my somewhat porky frame, I am a weight weenie at heart and I am excited for my next build which I hope to do by myself and get under 6kg.
As for my baby below, I still love her despite a few extra grams around the waist. I picked this bike up new and completely stock about 3 years ago for under $3k and have enjoyed upgrading and tweaking the setup over the last couple of years. Any remaining upgrades would be done with transition to my new build in mind. Have considered THM M3 and EE brakes as possible weight saving upgrades. Also researching power meter options.
Any and all comments welcomed!
Cheers
Dimitri

Thanks Micky! Not decided on the frame for my next build. Considering BMC SLR01, Cervelo R5, The new Evo hi-mod and the vial Evo ( although I thought I read something about AX being in some sort of financial difficulty). Also considering some aero like the new Scott foil.

Thanks for your comments. Yeah the wheels are awesome; easiest speed money can buy. The bars are a tad over-rotated but the position really works for me in the drops. Looks a little funky but function over form I guess.

Hi Dimitri,
Wonderful bike, with some quality upgrades. I must admit that I am biased. I have an 2014 SLR01. I have never ridden the RoadRacer, but the SLR01 is the best bike i have ever ridden. I can't think of anything it that it doesn't do well. I don't know much about the Vial Evo, but the other future bikes you mentioned are all great choices as well. In my experience the SuperSix Evo would be the only thing comparable to SLR01 in terms of speed, comfort and maneuverability, but like i said. I am biased. Keep us posted on what changes you make.
Cheers

I have to say I am partial to BMC's ride having done an extended 170mi test ride on the 2015 SLR01. I've also done quick rides on the Cervelo and the older SS Evo. Both great machines. Too bad I'll probably not get the chance to test ride the AX.

Gorgeous bike. I like that paint scheme much more than most Team Machine paint schemes.
