wtf did you do with your chainrings... 2edgy4me Anyway, knock out the little plastic piece at the end of the NDS spindle hole. That saves 2-3g if I remember correctly. You can tune the cassette by taking off the elastomers and the inner alloy sleeve. My final weight was 154.8g. Everything else looks pretty chill.

Hi Bud. With Fiberlyte full carbon rings they are made to order and you can specify lettering on them, i went with this as it makes me chuckle and when people look at me in a funny way asking why i have full carbon rings i just say 'read what it says', see vid.

I did wonder about the rubber bands and the inner spacer but was hesitant thinking that the rubber bands were for sound deadening and the spacer was so it doesnt compact under lockring load but could be easily wrong, how does yours perform without?
Which plastic insert are you referring to,do you have an image?
Thank you in advance.

Sorry, your memes aren't that dank. Hopefully you won't regret that in the future tho... It's a little louder and you can't torque down the cassette completely for some reason. It still is completely solid, but it doesn't tighten completely. The little plastic insert is at the open end of the arm, sorry I don't have a picture.

Dank, you talk like i used to back in the school days. I wont regret them as i may well get them made in a Q-ring oval and have something equaliy silly put on those. I know the plastic bit you mean, i will investigate when i am back. Not having the spacer sounds slightly iffy to me but then again the MTB XX1 cassetts dont but they tighten in a differnt way. If i end up 15g over a benchmark then i will probably do that, cheers!
I will post more updates as and when.

i have had a carbon oversized jockey setup made in 11t-15t, it has come out the same weight as stock DA 9000 cage and jockeys
i also made a first rough version of a carbon hood i am making which work out slightly more then 1/4 of the weight as stock DA 9000

Who makes that bigger size pulleys?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
sorry for the big photo. These hoods are made using self adhesive cotton type material.
They weigh just a few grms. I have had them on my bike for ages and they have settled down and look much neater after a few rides ....cost is just a few pounds for a roll of tape that would do more bars than you would need. Pull quite tight to get the angles like I said in the photo they look not so smooth but after a ride they look great and shape to the shifters.

The cage and Jockeys was made by Fibre-Lyte using a donor alloy mech cage for the b-nuckle hardwear.
