Well, I'm new here, but here's my current road bike, I'm on a tight budget, so any improvements will be slow.
It's a 58cm 2005 (I think) Colnago Dream
Group is a mix of different generations Campagnolo Record 11 Speed.
Wheels: Campagnolo Record Ti Hubs, rear rim is a Mavic CXP33, front is a Open Pro.
Stem: 3T ARX Pro ll
Handlebar: 3T Rotundo Pro 44cm
Bar tape: Random NOS bar tape found at work
Tires: Vittoria Open Pave CG 25c
Tubes: Random ones found in my closet
Cassette: Chorus 12-27
Chain: Chorus
Pedals: Shimano Dura Ace PD-9000
Saddle: PRO Griffon
Bottle Cages: King Cage Titanium

Currently the bike weighs in at 8.39kg, I'd say my goal is to get it down to 17lbs or less, while maintaining a classic look that's comfortable to ride all day.

Looks great. The groupset, wheels/tires and bar (italian classic ftw) matches the frame perfectly. Nice work!

The seatpost and saddle do not look that great on that frame IMHO.
Other than that it is really nice. Deserves more pictures on the road.

I agree with all of you about the septets and saddle, seat post is a Thomson masterpiece I had laying around, similar situation with the saddle, I'll be looking into a set back post, but can't run too much, as I might then run into issues with not being able to get the saddle far enough forwards.

The stem on the bike is definitely an item I'll be changing soon, to dial in the position, it's a 110mm -6 Degree arx pro, and I'm thinking I'll be switching to a 100mm, and lower, maybe as much as -17 degree.

Thanks for all the kind words, I told my wife I had posted on the forum her, and she said she was happy I'd have some place to talk and nerd out on bikes, therefore I might not talk at her about bikes as much.

Thanks! So far I've loved it, it's pretty dang smooth riding compared to my last road bike (BMC Race Master SLX01).

I got it at my work. I work for a online used bike company, and every once and awhile some deals come around that are too good to pass up, hence this frame and the parts as well.
The frame was used, but almost never ridden, the only signs of previous use were minor scuffs from cable rub on the head tube.

colnagos are sold with setback seat posts....this is how they are designed with steep seat angles you need a setback post to put you in the correct position in relation to the bottom bracket.
