Better go for a silver or black one.
a colour that comes back in the rims, cables, chain..

Yeah I totally agree with this. I was thinkingof maybe going purple and getting a green and purple scheme on it. Probably have to ditch the pearl white which is a bit annoying.

That sucks, I had problems matching greens on a nineties Rocky Mountain BITD, just a slight variation shouts out at you.

I actually took the green and purple route, which worked well with the black frame.

Now thinking of going with a pearl white and matte black paint scheme and getting the logos and maybe some highlights in the same green as the hubs. Also have those Ritchey Solostreems to be painted.

Stick with pearl white and a flash of color. That's what I would do.

Finally decided on a colour scheme. Gotta say that the headset changing from green to black really threw me off, but Rob has been really patient a worked through second, third, and fourth guessing myself. I've decided to stick with Pwll white as the main colour with metallic green accents to match the hubs. Bars will be painted to match. I reckon that between the black bar tape, rims, and saddle, the headset shouldn't throw off the theme. Speaking of saddles, I think I may pick up an AX Leaf Plus with the white leather on the back half to compliment the build.

The rest will be Dura Ace 9000 mechanical with EE brakes.

@Grill: the black headset looks amazing. it complements the black Seat tube perfectly. The paint is so good that you really should go all black components with the green hubs to tie it all together

Looks glorious.

That silver/grey hint on the bars is going to work really nicely to tie in the Dura-Ace components.
