Looks cool but... why not a ti frame from a reputable builder?
It seems spending more money is not an issue in your case...

A reputable builder would have cost 3 times as much, if not more.

Looks great. Really clean build
Awesome. I briefly considered a Waltly but went with a Ritchey instead. What's the weight for the frame alone?

Just a regular brake. I took inspiration from Project Right by English Cycles. They fit a EE Brake under the BB so I figured I could do it too.

That's your money, of course, but since you 've paid for SiSL2 crankset, Look Keo Blade Ti pedals, Smud saddle, EE Brakes, Mavic CCUs etc. I think a better ti frame would be up to the high standards. Even a used one...
says someone who has never ridden a chinese titanium well designed ( géo and tubing ) ?
You get what you pays for , but they are good to weld ( and even some builders in europa américa uses titanium from china )
I've had both : an old litespeed ultimate with 6/4 down tube from 2000 and a custom from titan product ( the litespeed was better ( double butting , more shaping , 6,4 ) but the titan product was quite good

For the price of a Firefly with the same specifications of this frame I would have to spend what I spent for the entire bike with the Mavic CCUs. I don't think the price/performance ratio would be too great. Also I designed the entire geometry myself and also picked the tubing to be used. They had almost no say in the building of the frame. I just told them to make something and they did it. If it was bad then it'd be completely my fault. Anyway I got a ride in on this thing and DAAAAAAMN, Ti really soaks up the big bumps like crazy. The smaller road vibrations are about the same, but the bigger bumps are just a ton more muted. The HT area stiffness is damn near anything else I've had, but BB stiffness is lacking. It might just be the material, but I feel like although it's still stiff, it isn't a snappy stiffness like I've had with my Evo and BMC SLR02. Or maybe just because I haven't ridden in a month... Either way this is definitely a nice bike. No regrets about it at all. Frame weight is 1399g.
Many big-brand ti frames come from places like Waltly. They know their stuff.
