Picked up a lightly used Cielo Cross Racer for cross season! Pretty stoked on the build as I will be using all matching Chris King mango components to play off the orange frame details.

Oh this one will be fun to watch evolve.
I have an orange Extralite seat clamp that would look nice on that scheme. Unfortunately it is slated for my wife's next bike. You should consider one.
Post more pics as this gets built up. Congratulations on the frameset. Looks stellar.
Open Pros are an underrated rim. They just work.

Really looking forward to seeing this built up.
There is/was one of these same frames on eBay in my size I've been contemplating for a while...
Not sure if I'm crazy about the paint yet. Which is why I'll anxiously await to see yours when finished!

Thanks, gents....I am pretty excited about it too. I admit I was a bit concerned about the Open Pros, but they seem to work well with the 35c Clements. I got such a good deal on the wheel set with the CK hubs I couldn't pass them up. I may end up relacing them to something a bit wider in the future, but they'll due for now.
@arizonahalfandhalf, this is probably one of those frame sets you saw . This came from a dude in Portland who used to race for Cielo. I am waiting on the conversion kit for the bottom bracket and I will complete the build. Now to practice how to adjust these damn cantis!!

Quick shot before the inaugural ride last night....changed out to Challenge Strada Bianca's since riding mixed road/gravel before cross season. Need to find some fitness somewhere...

Hey, a mini V up front and a canti rear brake? How did you like the bike?
If you want to see 'meh' content of me and my bike you can follow my life in pictures here!'Tape was made to wrap your GF's gifts, NOT hold a freakin tire on.'

Love it! Yeah, a bit of an odd setup, but since I will be doing some road riding on it I wanted a bit of better braking that you get with the mini-v, but the rear has a pretty trick cable stop for the rear brake so used a canti in the back. Works pretty well as the front mini is more powerful than a canti.

This is turning out as cool as I expected. If and when you go with a canti up front, take a look at the front brake VIA cable hanger from Brick Lane Bikes. It is pretty slick and works well. Put one on my cx paired with some Campy cantis and itnhas no stutter.

Thanks Stoli! I think it turned out pretty nice as well. I will check out the cable hanger if I decide to switch to canti.

That looks the biz. Wish my cross bike was that hawt, but mines just a beater that serves its purpose.
Is it just me, the camera angle, or is that a massive amount of drop for a cross set-up?
