Hello, I'm from Italy, just presenting my project, an old frame with a "new" set

Fork: Look HSC1 1'' full carbon
Headset: Chris King 1'' nothreadset
Stem: Syntace F99 with titanium bolts
Handlebar: Schmolke SL compact
Saddle: San Marco Aspide carbon fx narrow
Seatpost: Thomson Masterpiece with titanium parts
Brakes: Campagnolo Record skeleton
Shifters: Campagnolo Record Ultra 10s
Front Derailleur: Campagnolo Record titanium
Rear Derailleur: Campagnolo Record titanium 10s
Crankset: Campagnolo Super Record 50/34
Cassette: Campagnolo Record titanium 10s 12/25
Chain: Campagnolo Record 10s
Pedals: Time Xpresso 12
Wheelset - Zipp 303
Tubulars: Veloflex carbon

Nice build and weight! I like the raw Aluminum look.

Awesome! Older Cannondales always look good built with new (especially Campy) components. The only thing I would suggest is to remove the decals from the fork...otherwise, perfect.

Love those older raw cannondale's. If it was mine I would probably using metal polish on it every day. What was the weight of the raw frame and the fork?

The frame was from 2.8 serie, this means 1,27 kg for a mid size (like mine), this Look fork is 330 grams including internal expander , original fork was aluminum with a weight over 500 grams

I understand perfectly the look you mean but atm I wouldn't remove them because in the future these parts could be less saleable, sad but true

I want to buy a cannodale r500 frame and change the fork with a carbon one.

Do i have to buy 1’’ fork and 1’' headset or a 1 1.8’’ fork and headset?

What did you used for the bottom bracket?

Fork and headset are both 1", for the bottom bracket I've put the english threaded Campagnolo Ultra torque cups

the Campagnolo Ultra torque cups where 68mm or 70 mm?

and the crank arms what size where 170,172.5 or 175 mm ?

68mm because it's BSA (english thread), cranks are 170mm, tomorrow I'll post an updated pic with new fork, full SR11 groupset and a new total weight
