Summer wheels on the winter bike..

Hi all,
I find myself without a 'best' bike at the moment, so thought I would throw these 'old' wheels onto my 'winter' training bike.. I was very impressed with how it looked so thought I would share it!
It kind of makes it worthy of a best bike

Winter training in the garage? I don't see any mudguard eyelets
NOt bad though, not bad

So what's the difference between your winter bike and your best bike? It's not like you can slap full mudguards on your "winter bike". But nice either way. [emoji3]

I know, I know.... I put those SKS raceblades on it in winter. My best bike is just lighter by nearly 2K and just has more carbon on it... The EPS is way too nice for winter, but I clean it after every ride and it has done me well! BUT when it dies I will deffo get something more suitable that will take full mudguards....

I quite often put my summer Boras on my winter bike on these intermediate days when it is dry but not sunny enough to justify the good ride.
Sometimes I think that this is actually the best combination of good wheels and work-horse frame.
Lucky for you the weather is so good in winter in Yorkshire !

Thanks all,
And yes it is far too nice for Winter, but i just hate riding heavy bikes... I know its supposed to be good for training... but as I dont race... training for what?! I just pose really
@ jhamlin38 - its actually a 62cm traditional so will be too big for you... I think the wheel depth makes the frame appear more compact And I really love the frame/bike so dont expect to sell it on.. I think it will be a keeper until it dies!!
@ ghisallo2003 - It is summer over here at the moment (well supposed to be!) The winters can be really wet so these wheels are just on at the moment for Summer. I have a new frameset arriving in a couple of weeks which will be built up for my best bike....
Here it is in full winter kit...
