Hello all. I’m a long time lurker, first time poster. Mine is hardly a WW bike at a portly 7.6 kg but here goes:
2012 LiteSpeed C1R
7.6 kg
Ultegra 6700 Groupset except for the crank which was recently swapped out for SiSL2
Hed Jet 6 FR
I am afraid this is the only device I have that can weigh the bike. Yup, it's a luggage scale.

Welcome to the forum! That is a nice lookin' ride, and kudos for providing the main elements of the build list as well as the weight in your opening post.
What are your plans for the bike?

Thanks for the welcome Pete and Juan.
I have no definitive plans for the bike other than to get the weight down as opportunity presents itself (i.e. screaming deals popping up on eBay). Maybe I'll drill a few holes in the ISP topper that others have described as a boat anchor.
Updating to 11-spd will be nice but 12-spd will probably be released before I get around to that one.

And so the madness begins.
Swapped out Eggbeater 3s for 11s. I like Eggbeaters because I somehow manage to stick my cleats into crud every time I ride.
Changed out PRO PLT 100mm +/-6' stem for Extralite Hyperstem 120mm +/-12'. Sorry, forgot to weigh the Hyperstem.
Changed out mystery expander for Extralite Ultrastar 3. Forgot to weight the Ultrastar 3 also.

Welcome and nice bike. Nice to see that you already are upgrading
My bike is atm also at 7.6kg, but have ordered quite A bit from ebay, which should get my bike around 6.9 once it all has arrived. Will follow your build

Thanks! Do you have link to your build? I'm curious too.

Will be great, when I can afford a better wheelset, but that must wait for now:)

Lol. Yes I hope so! Hoping to achieve it by drilling holes in things too as opposed to spending money on parts.

Thanks!
I agree the wheels weigh a lot. My wife would kill me if I bought new wheels though.

I like the way my legs feel spinning the Osymetrics vs regular round rings. Generally speaking, I find I am able to run a cog or two heavier over the same course as compared to round rings. Also, I feel I do not need to come out of the saddle as much when climbing.
I do not have a powermeter so any evaluation is purely subjective/psychosomatic of course.
