hi this is my new build s works tarmac sl4 , little disappointed it tipped scale at 7.25kg 16lbs I guess is the heavy wheels .
I got the frame set thru ebay killer deal , did not like the color so I took it to my friends shop Mr Joe Bell.

...nice ride, but I have to ask, given the high price of a high quality JB finish, wouldn't it have been cheaper (and wiser) to simply buy a new Tarmac Pro in BoB colorway, with full warranty...assuming the new Tarmac Pro is the equivalent of the older SL4 model?

Frame set was $250 , fork $89 , JB paint $700 .. Total $1039. The lowest I've seen them are around $1600 to $2000 used.
