Ok guys, things degenerated here - I have taken the decision to split off what became a rather less than useful discussion and bin it.

Let us keep things civil from here on out.
Road bike: Cervelo R3, Campagnolo Chorus/Record mix...
Supercommuter: Jamis Renegade...
Oldie but goodie: De Rosa Professional Slx, Campagnolo C-Record...
And you can call me Macktastik Honey Pete Kicks, thank you.

On the EE brakes, what's the tin opener looking like thing sticking out? I've seen this on some other pics of EE brakes but not on others...

I'm assuming it's an adjuster of some sorts, it's just looks a little out of place.

Great looking bike by the way!

It's the centering adjuster on the new units.

Thought it may have been something like that. Strange looking all the same.

Strange looking...
Yea, because the EE's aren't strange looking at all.

ha ha, I agree they are strange looking even without the tin opener! I quite fancy trying a pair though and then saw this thread and had second thoughts for a moment when I saw the adjuster.

The EE centering bolt is actually fine. I don't need to go hunting for a 2mm allen wrench like with my Campy calipers.

Awesome work, SugarKane. Have to drop by next time I am in Sydney to speak to you about a Speedvagen!
