New stuff arriving and just working on ideas... Each pedal comes in at 1g over weight, while the cassette weighs 1g lighter than expected.

Some odds and ends.

CHAIN: I'm going to degrease the chain right out of the box and go with the Squirt dry lube from day 1.
TIRE SEALANT: I'm planning to insert this into the tubulars before riding as per recommended.
CARBON PASTE AND LOCTITE: Stuff I usually borrow from others :)

I've actually been using these for the past year. Normally I use 750ml bottles and these have never dropped a bottle - but that's on my S5 where my rides are up to 300km / 180mi long. Since this bike will be riding a maximum of 100km/60mi I've opted for smaller bottles, that fit in with the matt black/matte red/gloss black theme :)

The bottom bracket is FSA and came with the crank. It weighs 79g.

Ok the rear wheel with the cassette weighs in - as expected - at 717g

That puts the wheels set @ 1127g right now. Still waiting on skewers and tubulars.

Always nice to be surprised by a package you weren't expecting yet!

This is a 400mm post. I'll be removing about 100mm of this...

This is not the original saddle I was going to use... More on that in my next post.
