Thanks to everyone for their suggestions on how to lighten this build - they really helped a lot.

And here is the bike I wanted to create - looking how I want it to look.... Thanks everyone!

[pictures removed]

Sorry everyone. Already went through this at the beginning of this thread - So I was hoping everyone would be able to enjoy pictures of the build without focusing on what words are painted on the bike. But no...

It's interesting that if I had titled this entire project 'my $12,000 WW project' and hadn't been honest about the frame from the first post - there wouldn't be any discussion about paint or decals...

Regardless, thanks to those who submitted useful suggestions to help me. Just know that the bike rides awesome... I couldn't ask for a better bike for $2150. This has been a great project to have worked on - and through posts here and on this site - I've already identified how to get this into the 11b range this winter.

Thanks again!

The bars and decals are stupid as hell - but the weight is quite impressive

It will look better if you remove the Cervelo decal as it's not genuine

Yea not liking the fake Cervelo decals, not necessary, I like it better in full stealth mode anyway

I agree, that's a happy looking scale. The weight/price ratio is strong with this one.

Please keep us posted with some ride photo's and a reliability report.

Gilli, That is some awesome work you delivered. I'm impressed. Can you please tell me what your findings are with the oval rings. I had a set, but sold them before I could even mount them. I'm keen to hear what they feel like.

Impressive build, and some great deals. 2K is lowest I've seen so far.
