Hello everyone,
I wanted to share my bike (and myself) here since there is not much Orbea riders, especially 2015 Orca riders.

She was an Orca M20 when I bought with the Ultegra 6800 group, Vision Metron 40 clinchers and FSA finishing kit.
Except the finishing kit I sold each part instantly and built the bike with my Campagnolo Chorus 2015 groupset.

I have two specs for my rides. My daily used Chinese clincher wheels from Rae, Carbon-Cycles. 40mm high and 27mm wide. 1500 grams including veloplugs. S-Works Turbo inner tubes and S-Works Cotton 24mm tires.
I use this set for my commute rides, coffee/bar rides and regular trainings.

Second set is Campagnolo Neutron Ultra. This is my climbing (well, descending) wheelset. Michelin Pro4 Service Course 25mm tires and Michelin Latex inner tubes.
Here is the photo with it (I have my old stem and bar tape on this photo);

Here is full specs;
Orbea Orca OMP size 55 frame and fork
FSA headset with Orbea cap. Also Orbea seatpost clamp.
Campagnolo PF86 bottom bracket
All above weights 1600 grams
Campagnolo Chorus 2015 groupset (52x36 crankset and 12x29 cassette)
Time xPresso 10 pedals
Easton EA90 110mm 10 degree stem
Easton EC90 SLX3 42cm handlebars and Cinelli Caleido black bar tape
Hongfu Seatpost (I like it because it's comfortable and light)
Selle Italia C64 saddle
Zipp Alumina SL bottle cages

Total weight is not light. Including pedals, garmin mount w/ sensors and bottle cages is 7200 grams. Couple of grams heavier with Neutron wheels.

Currently I am planning to sell my Neutrons and buy 23mm wide, 24mm carbon tubulars from Carbon-Cycle. With 250 gram tubulars I will shave around 450 grams. I am open for any recommendations, especially for the tubulars.

Cheers!

Nice bike. Chorus fitting nicely here.

Have you read about clinchers minimal width on such wide rims? Sounds a bit narrow according to ETRTO recommandations.

@stuka666
I was hoping that someone else bought the wheels before I do and can write a review. Or I am willing to be a lab rat. I will test them good :D

@Samuel Sanchez Gonzalez
Thanks
About tires, my rims are 27mm at the widest points. On brake tracks it is 24mm wide, and inner bead width is 17mm
in ETRTO chart, 17C rims can take 25 tires smallest.
Since it is not a huge difference I don't think it will be a problem. Even with 23mm tires :)

Ok! Good. How do you like them wheels?

For the other wheel project, Neutron is probably the best training wheels possible, really reliable, bombproof, serviceable. They were my racing wheels then my training + wet racing, very reliable until dirty pads ate the brake track.

If you do some climbing, the 24mm tubulars will be really enjoyable though. I would not see them as a replacement to the Neutron although I'm sure they would have excellent riding quality on rolling terrain

@Samuel Sanchez Gonzalez
I am quite happy with them. Stiff and light enough. Braking is great so I feel confident riding it in traffic for my daily commute. Even in wet.
I don't know why but I didn't love the Neutrons.
Today I got my new chain lube so I will do a deep clean on my bike. Maybe change the wheelset and test Neutrons once again. Maybe we will be lucky this time :D

@zulu695
Thanks!

Thanks @micky

Today I did another short ride with my neutron wheels.
Under strong wind, with my Pro4 Tires (measured 27mm wide) at 70/80PSI, it was feeling OK.
Rolling well, not bad under really strong winds.

Still, my neutrons are on sale and if they go I want to try the tubs :)

Like the bike and the background - is that Istanbul?

Respectable weight for an Orca, which is not the lightest of frames!
Road bike: Cervelo R3, Campagnolo Chorus/Record mix...
Supercommuter: Jamis Renegade...
Oldie but goodie: De Rosa Professional Slx, Campagnolo C-Record...
And you can call me Macktastik Honey Pete Kicks, thank you.

Thanks Pete.
Yep, thats Istanbul.

Weight is OK, I guess. There are few places that I can shave weight, so maybe I'll start changing parts soon :)

I just ordered the 23mm wide, 24mm tubular wheels from Rae and 25mm Vittoria Corsa SC 25mm tires from xxcycle.
Will be my first tubular experience, can't wait to ride them :D
