I crashed yesterday on an oil spill, besides the fact that I am pretty banged up myself here is the bad news of the morning....

Oh no! I'm glad you're OK but you're frame looks like its toast! I would look into Pinarello's crash replacement program.

Frame is being repared. The crash replacement was -20%, not really interesting.

Yeah, it sucks... But it seems to be an "easy repair". In case I find the repair not satisfactory I will get another frame which I can easily get at -20% so I would end up with 2 frameset, one repaired one new. It beats the crash replacement policy.

Sorry to hear, bummer, at least you are OK and it should be easy enough to fix....

...crash replacement policies tend to give tiny discounts....which sucks

Oh no, I'm so sorry to see this Lionel. Glad that you are ok though! Did it happen on a descent?

No it happened on a round about with some sort of motor oil spill on it.....

The good news is that the frame was repaired and I will be getting it back soon.

The repairs look very clean. Where did you get it done and how much did you pay for the repair.
