Well got it down to 15 even with 1701 gram wheels with powertap G3 hub but took some purchases:

lighter bottle cages (Blackburn 18 grams each)
Ti spindles, Ti butterflies and Ti bolts on the speedplays (down to 150 grams)
Jagwire elite cable housing (Nokon too loud)
Modified the topper (down 10 to 152 grams)
lighter Selle San Marco saddle (down 10 grams and more comfortable)
lighter ti brakeset (down 20 grams and can run 25 mm tires)
lighter ti skewers (down 30 grams)...

For the topper you could go for a mounting kit of a KCNC seatpost or something like that. With titanium bolts it will win you some weight but I'm not sure if it will be 100 grams.

Hi,
Really nice looking bike, I am building something similar. Was wondering if you could tell me the saddle height you are running? (BB center to saddle top?) looks to be about 70-71cm? Thank you.

Thanks for the kind words!! Great eye by the way as my saddle height is 69.5. Recently put a Selle San Marco Concor FX and it is a little lower in stack so had to add a small spacer underneath the topper. Still need to find some way to lighten the topper but presently weighing exactly 6900 grams so still have to shave 100 grams to get to my desired weight.

Cheers.

Well put, Spidey. The rear triangle looks downright proper in XS.

Congrats on your new build! Ride strong, Weenie

Totally badass. Want.

Tune Saddle 90g (I find my Speedneedle more comfy than an SLR)
Kalloy Uno 7 130mm stem - 120g (weighed mine yesterday)
Conti Attack/Force combo - 185g each
Black Ti chainring bolts - will save another 10g
Lighter Garmin mount - 15g savings potential? -> viewtopic.php?f=14&t=114907

160g Topper - OMG.

You could go with AICAN Bungarus shift and brake cable housing sets. It would save you 65 grams or so over the NOKON stuff. Aside from swapping out nearly every little piece..bolts, pulleys, lockring, cassette, headset cap, etc....The cables are the easiest biggest place to lose some weight. The tires as well and maybe switching to some Vredestein Latex tubes, which are a bit lighter.

dang it never even heard of AICAN... just got some jagwire because I am not happy having to lube my Nokon every time I ride in the rain... noisy housing that is for sure. Thanks for the help.

Appreciatively.

Very nice build... only the 130mm stemm on a XS frame looks a bit off... but if you need it, you need it....

Wow! That's mean lookin'! In a good way. Looks like when you're on the hoods you'd be way out over and beyond your front axle, far more than average, or is that just the camera angle? If you are way out over, what's it like descending on something steep and technical?

Not sure about camera angle... I am stretched and regularly descend on this and find it to be way better than anything I've had before. I wouldn't mind trying a 120 stem but as it was it took a lot of pleading with Ritchey to get this stem because they send all of them overseas to Canyon (when I last checked anyway). I have not found a source for 17/73 stems that are 1 1/4 inches.

Thanks for the kind comments.
