I don't think I've seen a thread highlighting some of the more notable builds on the forum. I think we should aggregate links to them here since a lot of members (especially newer ones) may have missed some of the better builds. I don't think this thread should have to be limited to the lightest builds only, but any build that stands out among the rest.

I'll start with some of the obvious builds:

Gumgardner's 5.21kg Ruegamer

Gumgardner's 4.4kg Crumpton SL

Image

Donald's 3.41kg Ruegamer

Fuchspk's 4.053kg Stevens

Gumgardner's bike don't do it for me.
Yes, they are expensive, but everyone with money could have bought them.

Fuchs and Donalds bikes are what weightweenies is about.

To add a few that come to mind...

weeracerweenie's Scott

Madcow's Litespeed Ghisallo

...and a lot others like LJ's Pinarello's which I couldn't find directly.

Gummy's bikes are great and if you look at all the posts he made about Tuning parts etc you could see it was much more than just about the money.

His Rue is a real unique bike very cool.

I wonder who bought Jeff's bikes and what's happened to them, anyone know?

Can you remind me why he decided to dump the bikes (and quit cycling IIRC) after completing them?

If your asking me "you quoted me" , I have no idea.
Lets not turn this into a Gummy thread lets get back on topic and see some cool bikes

Original images are almost all but lost (another reason I'd like to keep a copy somewhere where they won't disappear after time), but I found an archived one

Extrasgrilli's 5.78kg Klein

Another build that belongs here would be VoodooJar's Friday Ghisallo, but almost all of those pictures are gone :(

mile2424's Red Bull Shiv should, but I can't find a full build pic and his thread is broken now. I also think bmanx's build is probably worthy since it's an aero build:

bmanx's 5.98kg Aero Weenie Cervelo SLC

Agreed this would not be complete without Voodoo's Ghisallo.

Amazing idea for a thread. I've only been on a few years and have missed a lot of these. Please, keep them coming.
