Agree RyanH, I would love to do the same with my Tommasini but funds for those wheels, chainset etc are a bit low... :(

I can't remember who's bike it was, but i think my all time favourite project was an older pre madone era trek (maybe a 5500?) that was sanded down and redone in black gloss with white trek logo's and lightweights, there was also some classic rims with tan wall pics. Just looked super cool. Anyone pull this one up if they remember?

I yearn for a day where there's a bike "Best" thread with no comments. Chicago fixed gear back in the early 90's had one. You just open it and nothing but amazing builds. No discussions on if they belonged there or not. Just bike pics. I used to remember the specific pages, where builds I wanted to view were posted..

Can we lock this thread down to images only?
