Hello,
@BManX, I did finish the bike. I went with the THM Scapula F and the schmolke MTB bar. It looks like a commuter bike. I was waiting for a Fibrelyte 44 tooth light version chainring to drop 40 to 50 grams on the 95 gram 49 tooth Aero chainring I have on there now. I was also going to post pictures after I got my Canon Digital camera for Xmas.....well I got a couple Old Navy Sweaters instead of the camera so I will post final build pics with my iPhone once I get some time.
Thanks

Awesome but sorry about the sweaters. I am thinking of new frame and building a new 1 X 10 build but want to get the new Sram eTap first so I can take the old sram and place it on the new build. In the mean time, I might do the build but do flat bar commuter bike set up.

Wow I love the Stork. My finished build looks very similar. I like the simplicity. I showed up to a 30mph paceline ride on mine and the bike felt the same as it did before I had it repaired. I can actually still get very low and somewhat aero with the mtb straight bars by grasping close to the stem and keeping my elbows in. l got a lot of "what is that?" questions.
Sorry about the pics. I will post them this weekend.

Did you ever finish this amazing Scott Addict singlespeed build? I would love to see photos and a final build list with weights.
Based on the components you've shown so far in this thread, by my calculations the bike should be sitting at a tad under 7.6lbs... But please correct me if I'm wrong.
Cheers.

I apologize about not posting updated pics. I have been very busy at work. I have also been obsessing over Magnesium clincher rims that I have been playing around with.
I really enjoy having this Scott Single Speed bike. It is stealth and matches all my other bikes in my garage. No brand name "in your face" type of logos is what I prefer on all my bikes. When initially building this frame, I wanted it to be under 7 lbs. I missed it by .47 lbs or 213 grams. If I were to do this build all over again, I would have asked Spyder Composites to remove the rear brake cable stops on the top tube (since I am not using them on this build) as well as remove the water bottle bosses on both the seat tube and the down tube for a much cleaner look. I could have saved another 50 grams on the Fibrelyte 49 tooth chainring that I had built extra thick for stiffness. I also do not like the barrel adjuster for the THM fork. I was unsuccessful installing the brakes without using this eye sore of a part. It is a pig part as well weighing 7 grams. I aborted the standard drop bar track setup because this bike was a little too flashy for the velodrome. Showing up with a DASH disc wheel was over kill and received too much attention.
