Canyon Ultimate CF SLX
Moderators: MrCurrieinahurry, maxim809, Moderator Team
Hi all! Long time lurker finally ready to introduce myself
My bike built for this season is a Canyon Ultimate CF SLX with the following specs:
Canyon Ultimate CF SLX frameset size medium
Canyon One One Four SLX Fork
Canyon S13 Seatpost
Canyon V13 Stem 100mm -6 degrees
3T Ergonova Pro 42cm Handlebar
Fizik Arione R1 Saddle
Dura Ace 9000 Groupset
Rotor 3D+ w/power2max Type S power meter
Rotor 4130 Ceramic BB
Praxis Works 52-36 Chain Rings
Ultegra 6800 11-28 Cassette
KMC X11-SL Gold Chain
Fulcrum Racing Zero 2-way fit
Hutchinson Intensive Tubeless Tires
Elite Custom Racing Bottle Cages
Speedplay Zero Titanium Pedals
Garmin Out-Front Computer Mount
Current weight: Roughly 7,3 Kg (no proper weighing scale available)
You'll have to excuse the droplets on the bike. I decided to take some pictures after I had prepared the bike for a sportive tomorrow and the weather seemed ok. However, living in Bergen, Norway, rain is never far away and I managed to take one picture before it started to drizzle. Hope you enjoy the pictures anyhow.
Alex

Beautiful bike! I recommend you look at the Hutchinson Fusion 3 tires, rather than the Intensives. In my opinion, the Fusions offer about the same puncture protection as the Intensives, but are lighter and more supple (as evidenced by the tire width that's capable on them). You can even get them in a 25c size, if that's what you were interested in.

Thanks! The Intensive are the tires I have been using this winter and will be replaced by Schwalbe One Tubeless 25mm when I get around to ordering a set. The Intensive are a bit sluggish

Canyon doesn't provide a more elegant topcap? This one looks chunky.
A great ride otherwise, love every bike with crank-based powermeter.
Nice wheels.

Just realised what I was refering about isn't called topcap but dust cap or bearing cover.
I guess the steerer will be chopped soon like every new bike, otherwise the OP makes us think he's slamming his stem just for the photo

4.75mm versus 16mm of the stock Acros. This comes with an expander plug for the steerer tube but I could not use mine due to my steerer having an uneven internal surface, some irregular flash from the carbon-bladder-inflating process.
Very nice bike btw.

Thanks for the feedback weenies
I do have the plane top cover set available, but I have not tried to fit it yet. There seems to be some small irregularities inside the steerer tube but I guess that could be solved with some fine grit sandpaper?
The steerer will be cut when I have settled on a final position, and the stem is not just slammed for the photos
