Old post:
Rebuilt with some 6800 and etc. Reusing cranks from the BMC, which is only an 8mm and a minute to swap over, which ain't so bad. Bars cost 13 dollars from Ribble and the 36cm c-c feels great so far. Literally every piece of housing at the front end is different, very very parts bin bike. Ignore the 6.7s...
Old, old post:
So I have a few miles on this, and it's really quite a nice bike. BB is creaking a little for some reason? I might have to regrease it or maybe go get it chased and faced. I decided to keep the Thomson post. With a new cradle, yokes, and bolts, the seatpost weighs 119g so it's actually lighter than before. I'm probably going to spray paint it gloss black though to go with the rest of the components. I've also been trying to sell my old Chorus 11 group to no avail for the past month so I decided to take the Red 22 off and sell that instead (which took three days). Good thing I put the already battle scarred Campy on because two days after I crashed in a crit because I am stupid. Everything survived intact with a few new scuffs so that's good. I also moved to a 10mm shorter stem and it feels much more comfortable now. I took the Quarq off and installed the Chorus cranks because I'm already planning the next build up. I may have a problem.
Sits at 14.1 pounds.

Old, old, old post:
Once again, I am bored with my old bikes. So here is the new steed! The post isn't final, I am painfully stupid and I broke the one that was supposed to go on this. But the Masterpiece is pretty light so it isn't that bad.
Currently around 14.1 pounds, and this isn't the final wheelset. I need to order new rims and spokes for those.

That looks stunning. I love projects where someone has taken an old bike and turned it into a bike as eye catching as this, and at a really good weight.

Yes I did. There's actually a bit more polishing I need to do on this, but I'm so lazy.

Love this look. I did a Pina Prince SL similar to this. I think I posted it awhile back.
Nice job.

Haha thanks everyone. After the ride yesterday I figured I need a shorter stem. My old bikes were all around 555mm saddle tip to bar center and this one is 564mm, way too long.
