Shimano 6870 Ultegra Di2 groupset with internal battery
Ritchey Evocurve aluminium bars, no decals
Shimano DA9000 C24 CL wheelset (still waiting for it, RS81 due for warranty replacement in the mean time)
Specialized Roubaix swrap bartape
Bottle cages; Elite Custom Race, unhappy with them, will wait for a decent offer on Mandibles or just cash out for King Cage ti and get it over with)
Feel free to make suggestions on components to use or not to use.
I decided to go with the internal battery as that is much cleaner than the under down tube position. However the seatpost on this frameset isn't adapted for that, and I decided to cover the battery in foam and then "screw" the battery into the post. I fixed the foam with some duct tape, then rolled it around the entire battery, finished off the ends with some duct tape to facilitate an easier entry into the post and frame, preventing the foam from being snagged on some rough carbon pieces inside the post.
I tried pulling out the battery to see how well it was sticking. The battery came out with a loud pop and required quite a lot of pulling. Now I just hope that the foam will not compress much over time, but I don't think it will. At the current state of friction other parts of the bike will go before this battery down into the seat tube, even if wet.
Fitting the Di2 wires was pretty straight forward and not more difficult than regular wires. Despite having had three bikes with Di2 this was my first time threading the wires through the frame holes. I used a couple of old brake wires and then attached the cable heads with duct tape to the wire, and pulled it back and through the frame openings. Zip tied the Di2 junction box to the underside of the Barfly 2.0, so that I can settle with slightly shorter cables on the bars and keep the stem clutter free.
Also the frame required oval grommets for the Di2 wires, man were they tricky to snap into place. It did however get easier once lubed with some silicone.

Yeah, seat post in position now, a fair bit of drop but not extreme, I believe around 12-13 cm, which is where I'm comfortable.
I'll shoot some better photos in daylight.
With my Mavic CCUs the bike should be quite a lot lighter. Approximately 500 grams on the wheelset, and I presume the tubular tires are a bit lighter than the clinchers with their butyl tubes.
That looks fantastic, love the look of the stem without decals.

SLR01 is really nice machine! It's light but well-set. My slr01 is about 6.8kg with Bora One 35.
